Simple brush library with 5 brushes:
1) Single Pixel Pencil - an un-aliased brush a'la Photoshop. Painter treates single pixel brushes as a special case, so setting the brush size to >1 will produce dots. If this pencil appears too big, you need to increase the size of the texture map (this is as small as Painter gets!).
2) +1 Pixel Hard Pencil - Same as above, but allows any brush size (set in the Controls window with any brush selected)
3) Marker - a non Buildup marker. The Painter markers use the Buildup method, so they tend to go towards black. This uses a cover method that is much more useful for P3D.
4) Smear Colored Pencil - My favorite P3D alaised brush. Seems to flow well on models.
5) +1 Pixel Soft Pencil - same as the +1 Hard pencil but with a small amount of alaising.
How to load these brushes:
1)From the Windows Menu select "Show Brushes".
2) In the Brushes window, select the Brushes Popup (the left/top Popup) and scroll to the end of the list to "Load Library...".
3) A file selector window opens and from this select the BW_P3DBrushes (Mac) or bwp3d.brs (PC) library. You should now get a single library with an icon that shows several pencils.
4) To restore the default brushes, repeat step 2 and select "Painter 3D Brushes".
