A.V. Roe's first aircraft and the first all British plane. A.V. Roe went on to design some of the most famous aircraft in WWII, like the Lancaster bomber. This triplane was first flown on July 23, 1909 and still flies today. It's most notable appearance was in the movie "Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines".
The plane was modeled in FormZ and Modo. The terrains are exports from MojoWorld 3. The Pilot is a Poser 4 figure and the Aviator Goggles were modeled by Spike.
All Bryce 5 except for adding motion blur to the propeller in Photoshop CS. The trees in the background are an intersection between a spiked terrain and a gently "rolling" hills terrain.
Rendered at 256RPP w/ soft shadows and depth of field. Render time on a 2.5 GHz G5 was 13hrs:49mins.
