GFX Ore Hauler/Hull 6V


Most of the objects were created with 3D grayscale displacement mapping applied to spheres and cubes in FormZ. The "terrains" were cubes, displaced from fractal images. The ship is a sphere that was displaced from an image texture that was included in the Bryce 2 Construction Set called "Hull Plates". This same image , heavily modified, was then applied as the ship's texture (courtesy of UVMapper). The rear flame is a visible volumetric light and the fog is a combination of a Volumetric cube (with Sky Integration on) and Bryce Fog&Haze. I think the Sky Integration really helps to break up the somewhat unnatural uniformity of Bryce Fog.
